The National Summer Transportation Institute (NSTI) will be held from July 22, 2019 to August 9, 2019 at Johnson C. Smith University. It’s a FREE Three Week summer program, sponsored by the Department of Transportation, to encourage high school students (rising Juniors & Seniors) to explore STEM careers in the transportation industry.

Program Details

• Three-week non-residential program at Johnson C. Smith University
• Trips to Wilmington, Raleigh, & Spartanburg
• Develop STEM thinking skills that can be utilized in the transportation industry
• Participants recieve a stipend for $100, per week
• Receive hands-on experience with drones (sUAS)
• Learn about career opportunities from industry professionals
