I started writing plays in the early 2000s just to see if I could. (Turns out I could.)
My full-length, one-act, and 10-minute shows have been produced numerous times by school groups, community theaters, clubs, and more across the U.S. and a couple times in faraway places I'll never see. I have work published by Heuer and Eldridge Plays and Musicals, and have been included in "Best of" anthologies from Smith & Kraus. My 10-minute plays have appeared in the prestigious Boston Theater Marathon five times.
Around 2019 I turned my focus to writing mainly for children's and youth theater, partly to turn out some scripts that my wife could use with her middle school theater club and afterschool and summer theater programs. The response has been wonderful and I've been having a blast, so I just might keep doing it.
You can find me hiding in a little house on the edge of a marsh somewhere south of Boston.
