You know...shed, barn, fence, etc.? Remember, as per our HOA covenants, you need approval from you local friendly Jamison Circle Ranches' Architect Control Committee. Click HERE to access the form (yes, there's always a form), complete it and get it to Ned Gilardino. He and his committee will review it quickly. If you have questions, give Ned a call. He's more than happy to help and he's such a nice guy (and his wife, Ann, is wonderful as well).

Prairie dogs have infiltrated Jamison Circle! Holes have appeared on the Darley/Dodd property. Where there's one, there's many. The dogs that WERE in their paddock area, however, have appeared to have moved.
A couple of key notes that may be helpful to our neighborhood in regard to the varmints in question. Prairie dogs won't build communities in areas with tall grass or brush. They prefer well-grazed or mowed land for their holes. Contrary to fire safety, if you're bordering the areas where the critters are encroaching, it's best to keep a few inches of brush or grass.
In addition, as recently as this week, plague has been reported in prairie dog communities near Rocky Mtn Arsenal. This makes it even more important to monitor these critters in our yards as well as our neighbors' yards. The more eyes on this matter the better!
If they do reappear, the county allows shooting them with guns, slingshots, pellet guns, but there are restrictions on poisoning them.
