ALL MEMBERS are required to register to these three forms.
ARTICLE III, SECTION 1.1 of the Constitution provides that:
Regular Members must:
Be 18 to 40 years old (membership continues until December 31 of their 40th year)
Be born male at birth
Demonstrate good moral character
Complete basic orientation requirements
Pay required dues and assessments
Not be convicted of crimes involving moral turpitude
Interested applicants who are either not within the age range or were born female may register as Associate Members.
ARTICLE III, SECTION 2.1 of the Constitution grant all Regular Members, as full participants in the Organization, the following rights:
Exercise full voting rights in all organizational matters including elections, constitutional amendments, budget approval, and policy decisions
Hold any elective or appointive office subject to qualification requirements and constitutional provisions
Compete for all local, national, and international awards and recognition programs on behalf of the Organization
Review financial records, audit reports, and organizational documents upon reasonable request
Right to fair hearing in disciplinary matters and full appeal procedures including General Membership appeals
ARTICLE III, SECTION 2.2 of the Constitution grant all members, regardless of category, the following fundamental rights:
Participate in all organizational programs, activities, projects, conferences, and training opportunities (within the scope of membership category)
Access leadership training programs, JCI-certified courses, mentorship opportunities, and skills development workshops appropriate to membership level
Full participation in all social events, networking activities, and fellowship programs
Respectful treatment regardless of membership category
Access to programs and activities within the scope of their membership category
Right to appeal decisions affecting their membership status or privileges
ARTICLE III, SECTION 3 of the Constitution provides that every member of the Organization, regardless of category, shares the following responsibilities:
Uphold and exemplify JCI Values and principles in all personal and professional conduct
Pay all applicable dues, assessments, and fees promptly by established deadlines
Maintain continuous good standing requirements including ethical conduct and appropriate participation levels for their membership category
Engage meaningfully in organizational activities, meetings, and projects according to their membership capacity and role
Pursue personal growth through available training programs and contribute to the development of fellow members
Participate in community action projects and initiatives that advance the Organization's mission
Support organizational mission, vision, and goals through words and actions
Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive organizational information and respect the privacy of fellow members
Maintain high standards of personal and professional integrity both within and outside the Organization
Demonstrate understanding and application of JCI Values in daily conduct and decision-making
Participate constructively in organizational processes and decision-making within the scope of their membership privileges
Non-voting members transitioning to Regular Membership
Full voting members in good standing
Distinguished individuals recognized for exceptional service, but may not meet standard Regular Membership requirements
A special recognition granted to a JCI member as the organization’s highest lifetime honor for outstanding service and leadership
