• Latest FULL firmware update (Version 2.1)

• Use this link if updating from Version 2.* 

In order to install the upgrade 

1.  Start from a freshly powered up JCILD (restart if needed)

2. Go to the System submenu and verify the currently installed version. If it is Version 1.* download the FULL update above and go to step 3 a, if version 2.* use the second link instead and go to step 3 b

3. Unzip the downloaded file

a. The zip file contains two folders (Update and extras), create folders in the uSD with the same names (case sensitive) and and copy the files contained in each folder in the zip, 

b. Copy the files in the zip file to the Update folder in the uSD

4.  Insert the card in the JCILD, then select the Update firmware option

5. IMPORTANT: The update from version 1.* to 2.* is more extensive than the incremental update, it takes about 30 seconds after started for the system to reboot, the device will be unresponsive while the update is in progress. The JCILD will restart when update is complete, verify the new version is installed from the message under the System submenu
