Jon Cheah

Hello! Welcome to my website. 

I'm a second year PhD student University of Hong Kong. I study mathematics, specifically algebraic geometry, under the supervision of Prof. Zheng HUA. My current interests touch on stratifications of flag varieties and  representations of preprojective algebras.

Before my PhD, I completed my MMath integrated masters degree at the University of Warwick. My dissertation, supervised by Prof. Dmitriy Rumynin,  was on McKay correspondence, algebraic KR-theory and C_2 graded subgroups.

Outside of mathematics, I am an enjoyer of sci-fi books, comics, and TV, including Star Wars and The Expanse.
