Junction City Fire Department covers 36 square mile in Jackson Township including the Village of Junction City located in Perry county Ohio.  Volunteers respond to emergency calls, as well as a part time EMS crews. With staff availability the  part-time EMS crews are on station 7 days a week 365 days a year from the hours of 8 am - 8 pm. The fire department not only responds to emergency calls in Jackson Township / Junction City it also responds as Mutual Aid to neighboring communties when requested. Certification levels of the firefighter/ EMT's range from VFF - FF2, and EMR- EMT - Paramedic. The Junction City Fire Department's apparatus consist of : 2 ALS equipped Ambulances, 1 SxS UTV, 1 1500 gallon Tanker, 2 Engines with 1 engine equipped with rescue equipment for various types of emergencies. 

The fire department hold various events through out the year including a pancake breakfast, open house, fire prevention program at the Junction City Elementary School.
