I moved to Juneau in 2019 to be near my amazing son John. Since that time our family has grown to include my daughter in love and two precious gran dogs, Charlie and Teal.
I have been a public school educator for over 30 years. I started this adventure as a middle and high school science teacher in Texas in 1989. Six years later I became a school counselor, which I have done in Texas, Kansas and now Alaska. I hold a Bachelors in Psychology from Texas A&M (Texas), a Masters in Counseling from Sam Houston State University (Texas) and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Baker University ( Kansas).
In my free time I love to read, travel, spend time with family and friends and create things using the fiber arts.
I am excited to be a part of the Juneau Community Charter School family and look forward to working with you all!
