If you want a precise, factory-style replacement for your Infiniti Q50 or Q60 sedan that prioritizes reliable heat dissipation and leak resistance, choose JC Whitney Engine Coolant Radiator; if you need high-performance cooling for a Polaris RZR Pro series UTV in extreme conditions, choose ASI PERFORMANCE Radiator. These two products solve entirely different problems for entirely different vehicles, and mixing them up would be a mistake. One is designed for the daily demands of a luxury car on the highway, while the other is built to handle the brutal, dusty, off-road beating of a work truck or utility vehicle. You do not buy an engine part based on what it costs or how many stars it has; you buy it based on whether it fits your machine and handles your specific operating environment.
• JC Whitney Engine Coolant Radiator: Strength lies in its reinforced construction with secure crimped seams and quality gaskets designed to resist thermal shock and vibration for stable temperatures. Trade-off is its standard down-flow design which targets efficiency rather than maximum performance gains. This pick is for Infiniti Q50/Q60 owners who need a direct, reliable replacement to restore factory cooling specs.
• ASI PERFORMANCE Radiator: Strength lies in its racing-spec full aluminum core that claims to improve cooling by 35% to 45% and undergoes rigorous aging tests for severe weather. Trade-off is its specialized fitment limited strictly to Polaris RZR models, making it useless for passenger cars. This pick is for off-road enthusiasts and work truck operators pushing their machines beyond stock limits.
• The Verdict: Choose JC Whitney for your daily driver sedan; choose ASI PERFORMANCE for your heavy-duty off-road utility vehicle.
The JC Whitney Engine Coolant Radiator Assembly is engineered specifically for the 2016 through 2022 INFINITI Q50 and the 2017 through 2022 Q60, both equipped with the 3.0L engine. If you own one of these vehicles, this unit is designed to slot directly into your existing bay without requiring custom fabrication or modification. The design philosophy here is stability and longevity. It features a durable aluminum core paired with cooling fins that promote rapid heat dissipation, ensuring your engine temperature stays within safe parameters during normal driving cycles.
What stands out most about this assembly is the focus on structural integrity. The product description highlights reinforced construction with secure crimped seams and quality gaskets. These are not minor details; they are critical for resisting vibration, thermal shock, corrosion, and leaks. When you are driving a luxury sedan like the Q50 or Q60, you expect the cooling system to remain silent and leak-free for years. The plastic tank material combined with the aluminum core provides a balance that manages expansion and contraction effectively. The inclusion of a transmission oil cooler is also a significant feature, allowing for dual-function cooling in a single compact unit, which simplifies installation for mechanics and DIYers alike.

This radiator is ideal for the owner who values reliability over raw power. It is perfect for the commuter who drives to work every day, the weekend driver who enjoys long highway cruises, or the garage enthusiast restoring a classic Infiniti. If your goal is to get back to the original factory performance specifications and ensure the car runs cool under normal traffic and city driving conditions, this is the tool for the job. However, if you plan to race your Infiniti or push the engine to redline constantly in hot weather, this might not provide the extra headroom you seek, as it is built for durability rather than aggressive performance enhancement.
In stark contrast, the ASI PERFORMANCE Radiator is built for a completely different breed of vehicle: the 2022 through 2025 Polaris RZR Pro R, Pro S, and Turbo R models. Whether you are running the standard Pro R, the four-seater Pro R 4, or the newer Turbo variants, this unit is designed to withstand the harsh realities of off-roading. The primary selling point here is the "racing spec" nature of the build. It utilizes state-of-the-art welding techniques and high-quality sealing materials to prevent coolant leaks, but more importantly, it is constructed from high-quality aluminum to maximize strength and cooling efficiency.
The data indicates a significant performance upgrade claim: this radiator improves cooling by 35% to 45% in temperature reduction compared to stock units. For anyone driving a work truck or an off-road utility vehicle in dusty, muddy, or high-heat environments, this margin is not just a number; it is the difference between an engine that survives a long day of hard labor and one that overheats and fails. Every unit is subjected to aging and endurance testing to validate performance under severe weather conditions. This suggests the manufacturer knows exactly where these machines operate—often in the middle of nowhere, under the sun, hauling heavy loads.
This product is for the operator who treats their vehicle as a tool. It fits the needs of someone who uses their RZR for trail maintenance, hunting, farm work, or serious recreational riding where engine stress is constant. The full aluminum construction offers superior heat transfer capabilities that plastic cores simply cannot match. If you are looking for a radiator that can handle the intense thermal load generated by high-performance turbo engines in rough terrain, this is the choice. It is not intended for the quiet, smooth ride of a city street; it is built for the roar of an engine working hard against gravity and friction.
• Best for Passenger Car Replacement → JC Whitney Engine Coolant Radiator (Specifically for Infiniti Q50/Q60 3.0L).
• Best for Off-Road/UTV Performance → ASI PERFORMANCE Radiator (Specifically for Polaris RZR Pro Series).
• Best for Leak Resistance in Daily Driving → JC Whitney Engine Coolant Radiator (Crimped seams and quality gaskets target vibration and thermal shock).
• Best for Maximum Cooling Efficiency → ASI PERFORMANCE Radiator (Claims 35-45% temperature improvement with racing-spec aluminum).
• Best for Transmission Oil Cooling Integration → JC Whitney Engine Coolant Radiator (Includes integrated transmission oil cooler).
• Best for Severe Weather Endurance → ASI PERFORMANCE Radiator (Validated via aging and endurance testing for harsh conditions).
• Best for Direct Factory Fit → JC Whitney Engine Coolant Radiator (Reference part numbers align with OEM replacements).

I recommend the JC Whitney Engine Coolant Radiator for any owner of a 2016–2022 Infiniti Q50 or Q60 who needs a dependable, no-nonsense replacement. Its reinforced construction and integrated transmission cooler make it the logical choice for maintaining a luxury sedan on the road. Conversely, I recommend the ASI PERFORMANCE Radiator for anyone operating a Polaris RZR Pro series UTV as a work truck or for serious off-road use. The massive potential cooling gain and the rugged, racing-spec build are essential for those pushing their machines to the limit. Ultimately, the decision comes down to the vehicle: if it is a sedan, go with JC Whitney; if it is a high-performance off-road work truck, the ASI unit is the only option that makes sense. Both are excellent tools for their specific jobs, provided you match them to the right machine.
No, compatibility is strict. The JC Whitney unit fits only the 2016–2022 Infiniti Q50 and Q60 with the 3.0L engine, while the ASI PERFORMANCE unit is exclusive to 2022–2025 Polaris RZR Pro R, Pro S, and Turbo R models.
The ASI PERFORMANCE Radiator claims a 35% to 45% improvement in cooling temperature and is tested for severe weather, making it superior for extreme off-road or work truck applications compared to the standard JC Whitney unit.
The ASI PERFORMANCE listing mentions a one-year product warranty and a 60-day free return policy. The JC Whitney product emphasizes long-lasting reliability and reinforced construction but does not explicitly list warranty terms in the provided data sheet.
Absolutely not. The JC Whitney Engine Coolant Radiator is designed for a passenger sedan and will not physically fit or function correctly in a Polaris RZR UTV due to differences in mounting, size, and flow requirements.
