All About Me
All About Me
Hi there! My name is Jennifer Bronstein and I am glad you are here!
I was born and raised in Southern California where I decided I wanted to be a teacher.
I am an educator who has been working in the classroom for 10 years, and I have taught upper and primary grades in a full-time, substitute and resource capacity. I have always wanted to pursue my Masters Degree, and at this time, with all of the changes in education, I am more motivated than ever to learn even more and be the best teacher I can be for myself, my students, and my district.
With education and schooling turning to the virtual environment, I want to be able to instruct and create valuable and meaningful education and tools. As a current teacher who faced the challenge of instructing through Distance Learning during this pandemic, witnessing students struggle made me realize that I want to add this to my knowledge base and continue my learning.
I am looking to broaden my professional opportunities to include myself in the creation of technologically advanced lessons through my district. I want to have the full knowledge and expertise to help all my students be successful, whether they are learning in a traditional classroom or virtually.
I want to be able to create lessons and tools that are meaningful for the classroom and for other educators, and that are engaging and purposeful for the students who are learning in a virtual environment. As a teacher who has virtually taught an underprivileged third-grade class, I feel that I can offer the perspective of an educator who wants equity and sees the different levels present in the classroom. I have practical, real-life experiences that I can bring to conversations of what works and what I see that did not work in a classroom. I would like to be an asset to my district, coworkers and administration as we embark on the next frontier of teaching.
