The final artwork "Working Frog", is a drawing done with Graphite and Charcoal pencils on a 11"x7" piece of sketching paper.
Within this drawing consist of three different objects with different materials; metal, wood, fabric. and plastic.
The three varying objects are a handcrafted frog keychain, a wood block, and a metal socket meant for a tool.
The image above is the starting image used for the lighting and angle. This image was used as a reference for drawing the correct angle and lighting while the actual objects were kept near to help with details not displayed fully in the picture.
The third image is the Photo Reference cropped with the Grid process.
Using the Grid process allows me to divide my image into smaller manageable sections to draw.
This image displays the grid method used for drawing.
By using the grid method allows me to properly portion the objects and translate the angles of the objects easier to paper.
Finally this image is the first layer of shading added and erasing the outer grid once all objects where properly drawn according to the first process image.
