My primary research interest lies at the intersection of communication technology, media psychology, and interpersonal communication with an emphasis on quantitative methods. I am particularly interested in understanding the dark side of technology use, examining the negative effects of information and communication technologies on our interpersonal interactions and relationships (e.g., phubbing). My recent research projects include human-AI interactions (how people make sense of AI-driven tools) and AI-mediated communication (how these tools facilitate and enhance our communication processes).
I am recognized for my expertise related to communication and technology. My work has been presented at both national and international communication conferences and has been published in high-impact peer-reviewed journals.
