"UNWELCOME WELCOME" - ORIGINAL ANIMATION

"Unwelcome Welcome", a short film concept created for a final project during my time in the Made in NYC The Animation Project!

My goal was to make an intro sequence, with a short montage at the end that shows fresh character designs and gives interesting bits plot  throughout.

"In a bustling modern city where alien collaboration is a government PR stunt than an actual benefit to society, two college girls are hiding something big. One, an offbeat klutz with memory problems and a nostalgic vibe; the other an actual alien who crash-landed on Earth, and fits in with surreal tech. Together, they try to navigate humanity, friendship, and the looming threat of being discovered by those who wield alien tech. Though not every hand is a good one."

"AI IN MEDIA KIDS CAN REACH, HOW BAD IS IT?" - VIDEO ESSAY

This project was originally a large end of year research assignment during my freshman year of college in FALL 2024. I decided to include it to show off my efforts and passion towards the subject, as well as my script-writing and motion design skills. I also wanted to display my research skills, as I created a collective haul of information from different articles to social media videos to reference.
