We offer some of the most unique trophy Catalina Ram hunts in Texas along the legendary Devil's River. Most all of our hunting is guided spot and stalk which offers the best opportunity to harvest a trophy Ram. The 6,000 acre low fence ranch is about 15 miles west of Lake Amistad on Highway 90. All of our hunts are a 2 day minimum starting at 12 pm on the Friday you arrive and ending at 12 pm Sunday. Lodging is provided to accommodate our hunters while hunting at the ranch. We have found that the prime time to hunt our Rams begins in February through the end of April. This time frame gives our hunters the best opportunity for success while hunting on our ranch. For archery hunters most shots will range from 30 to 60 yards depending on comfort level. We have known to get closer for traditional hunters. Most hunts start with periods of glassing the brush country terrain then making a plan for the stalk that morning/evening.
On our ranch we offer opportunities for rifle, compound bow, crossbow and traditional bowhunters. With our experienced guides we know you will have an amazing hunt. We do offer pop-up blind hunting upon special request but this can be more difficult than the spot and stalk style hunt. All of our guides are hunters at heart and are driven to provide the best hunting experience possible.
