I am a postgraduate student of English Language and Literature, currently pursuing my Master of Arts at the Department of English, Maharaja Krishnakumarsinhji Bhavnagar University (MKBU), Gujarat, India—an institution renowned for its rich academic legacy and vibrant intellectual culture. My academic journey is shaped by sustained engagement with literature, critical theory, and interdisciplinary inquiry under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Dilip Barad, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, MKBU, whose guidance has profoundly influenced my approach to literary studies and research-oriented learning.

My educational foundation was laid at Kendra Varti Shala, Valukad, where curiosity and discipline first shaped my learning habits. I completed my secondary and higher secondary education at Gram Dakshina Murti, Ambla, institutions that nurtured my growing interest in language, ideas, and critical thinking. This passion matured during my undergraduate studies at Matushri Ratanben Ramjihai Monpara Arts College, SPEI, Bhavnagar, from where I graduated with Second Class in English Language and Literature. It was during these formative years that literature transformed from a subject of study into a serious intellectual pursuit.

As a student of English literature, my academic interests span modern and postmodern literature, critical theory, cultural studies, and comparative literary analysis. I am particularly drawn to texts that explore power, marginality, identity, trauma, and resistance, and I enjoy examining literature through theoretical lenses such as postcolonialism, subaltern studies, psychoanalysis, and gender theory. I view literature not merely as artistic expression but as a powerful site where history, ideology, and human experience intersect

Beyond formal academics, I actively engage with digital humanities and academic content creation, using platforms such as blogs, presentations, and online repositories to reflect on texts, theories, and classroom discussions. I believe that learning becomes richer when knowledge is shared, questioned, and reinterpreted through dialogue and technology.

At the core of my academic identity lies a commitment to intellectual curiosity, critical rigor, and lifelong learning. I aspire to pursue advanced research and contribute meaningfully to the fields of literary studies and higher education. Through this e-Portfolio, I aim to present not only my academic achievements but also my evolving intellectual journey—marked by inquiry, reflection, and a deep respect for literature as a living, transformative force.
