My path to early childhood education is rooted in a unique blend of professional excellence and a lifelong devotion to the arts. After thriving for 20 years in the high-paced semiconductor industry, I chose to transition from the corporate world to my true calling: nurturing and educating the next generation.
As a mother of a 15-year-old and an 11-year-old, I understand the aspirations parents have for their children. I’ve spent years navigating the local educational landscape and have dedicated myself to enriching it—serving as a Music for Minors II Docent within the Fremont Unified School District and a full-time California Tamil Academy (High School Credit Program) teacher on weekends.
One of my greatest joys and unique skills lies in the kitchen. I am deeply passionate about crafting vibrant, vegetarian meals that prove healthy food can also be "yummy." My recipes have been refined over years of motherhood and are famously loved not only by my own children but by their circle of friends and families as well. I take immense pride in creating a "from-scratch" menu that children actually look forward to eating. By blending nutritional science with authentic flavors, I ensure that every breakfast, lunch, and snack is a highlight of your child’s day. When children enjoy what they eat, they have the energy and focus needed to thrive in our music and language programs.
I believe that childcare should be more than just a safe space—it should be a springboard for a child's identity. My home is a multilingual and melodic environment where I share my deep proficiency in:
Language Immersion: Fluent instruction and daily conversation in English, Hindi and Tamil.
Western Arts: K-8 Western children’s music, simple/theme based songs and theatrical performance.
Indian Classical Traditions: Training in Hindustani, Carnatic, Bhajans, and Shlokas.
I am incredibly passionate about the intersection of nutrition, development, and community. My approach is "hands-on" in every sense of the word. From organizing local hiking trips and park plays to coordinating community celebrations like Halloween, Holi, Diwali, and Navrathri Golu and Garba/Dandiya, I ensure that the children in my care feel connected to their peers and their heritage.
One of my greatest joys is preparing children for the stage. Whether it is coaching for a group song, helping them learning/rehearsing dance, or providing expert assistance with costuming, hairstyling, braiding, and makeup, I take pride in helping every child find their confidence and shine in the spotlight.
Beyond the daily parenting duties, I take pride in being an active pillar of our local community. I am in continuous collaboration with community members and local organizations to curate a year-round calendar of enriching activities. From neighborhood hiking clubs and park playdates to large-scale cultural festivals, I ensure our children are consistently engaged with the world around them.
By choosing my program, you are gaining a partner who brings the reliability of a corporate professional and the warmth of an experienced educator. I am committed to providing a structured, safe, and vibrant environment where your child can grow academically, culturally, and socially.
