Artist Statement: 

My love for  drawing and painting  started ever since my parents gifted me  a box of crayons for my Birthday in kindergarten.  Colors have always fascinated  me and  I like how the play of colors can affect the mood of a painting. I gather inspiration  from nature and I  paint a variety of subjects— whatever suits my fancy at the moment.

 As I lay each stroke of color in my artworks, I am always looking to add visual interest to my art pieces in order to create drama,  texture, light and humor. Creating art gives me immense joy and I hope to bring that joy to the viewer as well. 

Education:

Foothill College , Los Altos Hills,CA- Certificate of Achievement in Graphics and Interactive Design, 58.0 Units, 2018-2020.

Sir M.V.I.T, Bangalore ,India - Bachelors  in Electrical  and Electronics  Engineering.

Teaching:

Art Instructor ,Mobile Art Academy , San Jose,California - 2014 to 2016

  In conjunction  with Mobile Art Academy , I worked as an Art Instructor  teaching children on how to create art digitally using the iPad / tablet . Also conducted summer camps at the Sunnyvale  Community  Center, Quinlan Community  center at Cupertino , CA and at the Los Altos Community  Center,CA. I also played a role as a  substitute  teacher teaching how to create art digitally using your mobile device  for Seniors and Adults at the Pacific  Art League , Palo Alto,CA

Commissions and Programs : 

2024- Global Roots Mural Mosaic Art Project , for America's Nature 's Adventure Mural    Global mural will be unvieiled on April 21,2025 at Durant, Oklahoma

2023- Commission  "The Great Box Cover-up!", Solo Artist  ,  City of Sunnyvale, California 

2023 -Commission  " Pet Art  Project " Group Art Project in collaboration with  Sunnyvale Art Club,Sunnyvale, California. 

2022- Commission  " Sunnyvale Sister City Group Art Project Phase 2"  in collaboration with Members at the Iizuka Art group, Japan  (Reverse Iizuka Group Art Project ) and  Sunnyvale  Art Club, Sunnyvale ,California  . 

2021  - Art Box Project SJ Phantom  Galleries/ Two Fish Design, San Jose,California — Commissioned  to paint the utility  art box in the SUN Neighborhood  area in San Jose,California  Location  of the Art Box- East Reed Street and South 5th Street, San Jose,CA. Solo Artist. 

2021- Commision- " Sunnyvale Sister City Group Art Project Phase 1" in collaboration with Members at the Iizuka Art group, Japan  and  Sunnyvale  Art Club, Sunnyvale ,California.

2020- Several Group Art Projects in collaboration  with Sunnyvale  Art Club,Sunnyvale,California   such as --The Jigsaw  Canvas Collage group  Art project” ,  “ Balconies  as seen during  the pandemic “ and Big Draw Art event  projects.

Illustrated the book " Sally's Heart", which  won the Prestige Award at the 2024 Regal Summit Book Award under Teaching category  July 2024
