The latest Script Hook V update seems to have broken the Emergency Lightning System's (ELS) AdvancedHook.

This has happened once before, in Grand Theft Auto V version 3258.0.

In the meantime, please use the AdvancedHook.dll included in the original ELS-download for ELS to function.

ℹ️ Anti-cheat Information (BattlEye)

This version includes the controversial kernel-level BattlEye anti-cheat system.

To use mods like Scripthook V, RPH, and LSPDFR, you'll need to disable BattlEye. A new setting in the Rockstar Launcher will allow for this (See Below). 

You might have to do this step regardless of if GTA V has been updated.

If using third party launchers like Steam or Epic and these instructions do not work for you, you may need to create a commandline.txt file, with the contents -nobattleye or insert it into the command line arguments of the launcher.

The developer is aware of the crashes with the latest update and is researching a fix. 

SirenSetting Limit Adjuster (SSLA) Issue:

• Users have reported SSLA causing game crashes. If you use RPH, your game might crash during the "Initializing Game Support" stage. To resolve this, remove SirenSetting_Limit_Adjuster.asi from your game folder until an update becomes available.

⚠️ RAGEPluginHook Issue

RAGEPluginHook Issue:

• Microsoft Defender has incorrectly introduced a false positive detection for RPH in a recent definition update. If you're affected, you'll see RPH briefly mentioning 'Verifying Hook' and crash. It may not be sufficient to just exempt your GTA folder; To start RPH, it may be necessary to temporarily disable your AV. You can re-enable your AV when RPH starts and hooks successfully.

OpenIV Users: If you’ve installed file mods through OpenIV, you’ll probably need to at least update update.rpf in your mods folder. This usually involves deleting the file and recreating it, and reinstalling any modifications that you put into that file. This is the downside of using the OpenIV mods method, unfortunately.

LML Users: If you’ve installed file mods through LML, you won’t need to reinstall or update your mods in general. However, ensure you have an up-to-date gameconfig.xml.
