LSPDFR for Enhanced Status Update

Message from the LSPDFR Team

"We're very excited to announce that LSPDFR Enhanced, after months of development and testing, is now entering the next phase of the development process and is now available to our Insiders. We are deeply grateful to everyone in our staff team and closed testing community for their feedback and support that have brought us to this point.

The current build is largely stable, though a handful of bugs remain and we are not yet feature complete with Legacy. Development is advancing quickly, and each new revision brings us closer to a fully polished release.

 Several community members have asked whether the Legacy edition will continue to receive attention. Both RAGEPluginHook and LSPDFR have been engineered to accommodate the Legacy and Enhanced branches side‑by‑side. With most of the heavy lifting complete, our goal is to roll out updates to both editions in parallel.

As soon as we’ve smoothed out the last few wrinkles and made sure everything runs flawlessly, we can’t wait to roll out LSPDFR Enhanced to everyone."

We're excited to share the latest updates on projects bringing LSPDFR and RAGE Plugin Hook to GTA 5 Enhanced Edition alongside refreshing our entire website - with new features, a new design and a more fluid experience.

LSPDFR & RAGE Plugin Hook Enhanced

With the recent release of Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced Edition @LMS has been working on porting RAGE Plugin Hook. While still in its early development stages, RPH is now successfully running on the Enhanced Edition with most of the basic features working, including running small plugins and DX12 rendering. In addition, our biggest LSPDFR update ever is currently in closed-beta testing and we hope to have more news on it soon.

RPH on Apple Silicon

As part of the port to the Enhanced version and DX12 support, we have streamlined some core systems, now allowing RPH and LSPDFR to run on Apple Silicon. We're still addressing performance issues and visibility concerns before considering a potential future patch.

Pre-Load the Free Grand Theft Auto V PC Upgrade Now

The upcoming upgrade for Grand Theft Auto V on PC is now available to pre-load. This new version — with highly requested features previously only available in the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions including new vehicles and performance upgrades, access to subscribe to GTA+, and much more — arrives on March 4 and is available for free to all players who currently own GTAV on PC.

Anyone who already owns GTAV will see GTAV Enhanced available in their library to begin pre-loading. The existing version for PC has been renamed GTAV Legacy — which will continue to be supported.

Beginning today, you can also preemptively migrate your Story Mode progress to the new version, directly from the Pause Menu inside GTAV Legacy on PC. Please note, you can update the Story Mode Save Game uploaded to Rockstar Games multiple times — overwriting the previously uploaded Save Game each time — but you can only migrate it to GTAV Enhanced once, and while you will be able to continue playing from where you left off in GTAV Legacy, progress cannot be copied back.

On March 4, once the free upgrade is available, you'll be able to migrate your Story Mode progress and GTA Online character progress from within GTAV Enhanced. The GTA Online transfer is also a one-time migration that does not delete your GTAV Legacy progress, but it cannot be reversed, and includes any Characters, GTA$, Progression, Stats, Vehicles, Properties, Weapons, Clothing, and Player-Created Jobs.

Players on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One can still only migrate Story Mode and Online progress to PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S. Profiles cannot be migrated between PlayStation or Xbox console families and PC.

Quick Update

There will be two instances of Grand Theft Auto V starting tonight.

One will be the original Grand Theft Auto V; now called Grand Theft Auto V Legacy. This is the version RAGEPluginHook currently supports.

Then, there will be the new version; called Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced. This is the version RAGEPluginHook currently does not support. We won't know about compatibility until it releases.

You will find both instances in your launcher's library. 

Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced is supposed to release on March 4th 2025.
