About Tigon's Rail Infrastructure Pack

Description

This train themed asset pack adds non-electrified rail networks and assets. There are multiple cargo stations (each with electrified and non-electrified rails), non-electrified versions of the vanilla train stations and smaller depots.


Added Assets:

  • Non-electrified tracks - single oneway and twoway tracks, double track and "station" track (these track have no catenaries, electricity capacity or visible wires)

  • Medium Train Depots x3 (6 trains each)*

  • Modular "Terminal" Rail Depot - Rail version of the vanilla modular subway yard

  • Train Coal Yards (handles coal and ore related commodities)

  • Train Lumber Yards

  • Train Oil Yards (includes the mini-oil stop)

  • Medium General Cargo Train Yards

  • Train Garbage Yards and new garbage waggon to handle the rubbish being exported

  • Non-electrified track versions of the passenger stations

  • Train versions of the above ground subway stations

  • Truss and Stone Pillar rail bridges

  • 4-track rail and Tied-Arch Bridge (it is highly recommended that Traffic is used in conjunction with this rail track type to remove automatically generated crossovers, a.k.a. scissors)

  • New Train Consists (both EU and NA train variants are available, for freight and passenger rail)

  • High Speed Rail with a 10-car HST to run on it

Special thanks also to StarQ/Quoshik, for enlightenment in arcane ways and the art of not over-thinking, and more due diligence than I deserve, and re-surfacing the stuff quite strangely declared as "HiddenInEditor".


Special mention also to Infrastructurist and Soerensen42 for lending their ears, eyes, and time. Canadian Moose, because he is Canadian Moose and he gets me to make silly things. Oh, and Dava S. who builds beautiful rail monstrosities in the most glorious way! Credit to Aymen Meow (you'll need to ask them, not me) for the new "Electric Commuter Train" that they created and I merely nudged about a bit.


Credit also to Cryptogamer Skylines for some excellent network decals that are used in the new railbed variants.
