Jaydish Kennedy J is a postgraduate Botany student, Life Science researcher, and World Record holder with a strong interdisciplinary focus on applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to agriculture, environmental science, and biological research. His academic and research interests center on AI-driven plant disease detection, insect and pest identification, soil analysis, and the development of smart agricultural systems.
He actively designs and develops practical AI solutions, including image-based classification models and web applications, aimed at supporting farmers, students, and researchers. By integrating foundational knowledge in botany with modern data science and deep learning techniques, he works toward addressing real-world challenges in sustainable and precision agriculture.
In addition to research, he is deeply involved in innovation-driven projects and technical competitions. His work reflects a commitment to bridging the gap between biological sciences and emerging technologies. He continues to strengthen his expertise in AI model deployment, optimization, and the creation of user-friendly applications for real-world impact.
participated in the Entrepreneurship Development Idea Contest 2025, organized by the Directorate of Collegiate Education Tirunelveli in collaboration with Holy Cross College, Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu, India, where I was awarded Second Prize for presenting the AI-based application Agro bot: Pesticide-Affected Leaf Detection
On 23 September 2025, participated in a State-Level Intercollegiate Research Competition, the 9th Exploria, conducted by Fathima College for Women. I presented my AI-based application titled “South India–Based Medicinal Herb Classifier” along with my colleague Mr. Thirupathi. Our project was recognized for its innovation and research quality, and we were awarded the Second Prize in the competition.
