My main focus in the last few years has been with acrylic painting. From time to time, I will dabble in landscapes or portraits. However, my love of bold colors and strange patterns drive a more contemporary and abstract style I prefer.  All my life I have considered myself an artist and have only my public schooling for art training. I've done my best to learn what I can through other artists, books, talks, and what I jokingly call “YouTube University."

I was born and raised in southwest Montana, did a short stint in the Army National Guard, and a bit of travel across the United States. I began exploring a more entrepreneurial side of art when I moved to Asheville, North Carolina in the spring of 2025. Until that point, I had not really considered selling my work in any capacity. Asheville has such a large and encouraging art scene, it felt silly not to give it a try. 

I've been enjoying the community and learning what it takes to create for a living. I love being able to share and hear new perspectives on my own creations. It inspires me to make bolder and more daring choices with my art. I intend to continue to create paintings and explore other mediums as I go.
