How to Create a QR Code on Android
Download the Google Chrome app from the Google Play Store.
Navigate to the URL you want to share.
Click the three vertical dots (⋮) on the top toolbar.
Tap Share.
On the pop-up, select QR Code.
Either click Download at the bottom or hold your phone up for someone to scan the code.
Share pages with a QR Code on IOS
On your iPhone or iPad, open Chrome .
Go to the page you want to share.
At the top, tap Share. Create a QR Code.
Below the QR Code, tap Share.
Reflection
The reason why they are more useful than a standar barcode is that they can store (and digitally present) much more data, including url links, geo coordinates, and text. The other key feature of QR Codes is that instead of requiring a chunky hand-held scanner to scan them, many modern cellphones can scan them.
