Biography
Hi! In April 2024, I started working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, BIT Mesra, India. Prior to that I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at CISPA Helmholtz Center for Information Security, Germany hosted by Dr. Vaibhav Bajpai from September, 2022 onwards. At CISPA, my interests spanned across designing a secure and privacy-preserving infrastructure for the Web. My primary research interests are in network security, applied cryptography, blockchain and privacy. I design practical, efficient and provably secure protocols that can be ideally deployed on real-life applications.
Before my PostDoc in Germany, I spent a lovely time at Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, doing my Ph.D. (with Prof. Sipra Das Bit and Dr. Sushmita Ruj). My Ph.D. thesis is about designing a robust and secure framework for fog-enabled Industrial IoT, where I obtained my degree in December 2022. Prior to that, I spent two wonderful years of my student life at Jadavpur University pursuing M.Tech till 2017.
Born in Kolkata, I graduated from Techno Main (formerly Techno India), Salt Lake in 2015 and completed my initial studies from St. Stephen's School, Dum Dum. During my leisure, I love to read books, meditate and travel. Photography and cooking are my favourite hobbies.
