Zeke has a knack for finding vintage things. He brought home this classic card one day and we knew we had to use it for our wedding.
Our friend Cody Shipman created the new illustrations that included Chu Chu (our chiweenie) and us, added some fun details, and put together our special invite just for you!
He also created our Alki Beach postcard!

Peaches is a filmmaker, event producer, performer, and activist who has known Jason since the late 90s. They met when Peaches/Josh was producing a Midnight Mass screening of Female Trouble (where Jason had an onstage makeover) introduced by mutual friends Korey & Michael. (coincidentally, it's those same friends who introduced Jason & Zeke!)
The persona of Peaches Christ marries horror & glamour (Zeke) with camp & cinema (Jason) which makes for the perfect officiant of our wedding.

Our first dance was definitely inspired by the movie Mannequin, one of the first movies we watched together. It's a camp classic and features the song "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now." However, dancing to that song was first brought up when we watched another movie, The Skeleton Twins.
