We've got separate electricity meters for each flat. These meters are read by a person from BESCOM (The local electricity board) and a bill is generated for the same. You will then proceed to pay it directly to them through any of the channels/means offered by them.

Note: The common area electricity bill is divided amongst all occupied flats. You will pay what is due against your flat.
This is to power the common area lights, the borewell motor, and the lift.
We have got a common water meter for the entire building. The meter is read by a person from BWSSB - Cauvery water (local water and supply and sewerage board) and a bill is generated for the same. You will then proceed to pay us by the channels/means offered by us. Please make sure you pay well before it's due to avoid penalties.
Note: The water bill is divided amongst all occupied flats based on headcount. You will pay what is due against all members in your flat.
For example:
Generated Water bill: 1000 INR
Flat 1: A family of 5 people
Flat 2: A family of 3 people
1000 INR / 8 people = 125 INR per person
Bill for Flat 1 is 5 people x 125 INR per person = 625 INR
Bill for Flat 2 is 3 people x 125 INR per person = 375 INR
The maintenance fee collected goes towards the following:
salary to the security guard
Lift maintenance/repairs
Common area cleaning and its supplies
Bi-annual cleaning of all water tanks
