Title: Depression is Black!

In Depression is Black!, presenter Jessica Walker will discuss the various ways to cultivate a relationship with African American clients, learning strategies for working with clients patients who come from another cultural background, and how to get African American clients to open up to receive the help they need. Ms. Walker will discuss the history of the African American community, how members specifically deal with stress, and how to incorporate that knowledge into effective treatment.

She is a very active speaker and consultant, but she had not been active in sharing her message via social media, and she really wanted to, but didn’t know exactly how.

Dr. Sayida had been buried under books and working since grad school and hadn’t really looked up long enough to keep up with all the digital technologies and social media trends

We put strategies in place so that people called to pay her instead of asking for free all the time. We revamped her social media presence to be more human and real to create a deeper connection to her audience.
