My name is Javier Romero Haaker. I am an Economist at the World Bank's Poverty and Equity Practice and the Latin America and the Caribbean Gender Innovation Lab. My research and policy work focus on development economics and gender. I hold a Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from Duke University and a Bachelor's degree and Licenciatura in Economics from Universidad de Piura.
