Javier Antonio Herrera Martino

My name is Javier Herrera, and I am from the Dominican Republic. I am a current senior at Bryant University. I started my journey at Bryant back in 2021, when I decided to transfer from Spain because of the education system and how antiquate it is. I have loved my journey here at Bryant University and have been learning a lot about the finance world.

 
While studying different classes I have really enjoyed several topics of the finance industry and feel that in terms of my career path, I would love to get a position in any of the big banks in the Wealth Management area. This area is the one that holds most of my interest because in this area I will get involved with all types of securities such as debt, stocks, and alternatives. This will make me learn about different classes of securities and will also make me a broader finance person in general terms.

 
After a few years on the job, I would love to start my own hedge fund company and be the CEO of it. I feel that when I am ready, I will pursue it and make it possible. Perhaps bring my innovative experience and idea to my country and try and introduce an easier way for investing in a third-world country such as mine.
