I have since completely cleaned up the old windows media pc. It has no GPU now and still retains the 250GB SSD main drive and a 4TB Drive... Though I have no idea what I should do with it. I don't feel like its really worth selling or even parting out but I also don't really want to throw it away.

with some handy scripting and being able to utilize these skills I have acquired over the years I have full functionality of being able to ditch the keyboard in the loung or bedroom for an htpc build and entirely use my phone to remotely ad downloads, a script that runs youtube-dl in the background to save music I add to a playlist, remotely add torrents from my phone, and launch retroarch for some nice emulation on PS1, DOS games, Dreamcast and PSP games.

HTPC Manager works great on Linux with Python. use Python 2.7 if possible. Download the latest zip, tar.gz or do a Git-clone.Cd into the directory where you extracted the htpc-manager folder and from there, launch HTPC Managerpython Htpc.py
