Hand Photo Database
A large-scale, high-resolution dataset of contactless hand photos collected under controlled studio conditions (25 cm / 40 cm distances), including both dry and wet hand conditions. Each volunteer contributed 12 images (6 per hand), enabling extraction of finger photos (5 per hand) and palm photos. Designed to support multibiometric research on RGB-only smartphone-based authentication, it is — to our knowledge — the largest publicly described dataset enabling joint minutiae-based recognition of fingers and palm.
⚠️ Note: Due to ethical and privacy restrictions, the full dataset cannot be shared publicly. A subset may be released pending participant re-consent. Researchers interested in reproducibility or collaboration are welcome to contact me for technical guidance.
