kodraftX built the JaunZadagan app.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

The Personal Information we collect is used strictly for providing and improving the Service (such as personalizing your profile and securing your account). We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

🛡️ Authentication & Data Security

To provide a secure experience, the app utilizes Firebase Authentication for user login and account management.

1. Login & Session: We use secure tokens to maintain your session. We do not store your raw password in our local database; it is handled securely by Google Firebase.

2. Gmail-only Policy: For enhanced security and verified identity, the app currently only accepts @gmail.com addresses.

3. Brute-Force Protection: To prevent unauthorized access, the app includes a security lockout mechanism that temporarily disables login attempts after multiple failures.

4. Account Deletion: Users have full control over their data. You can instantly delete your account directly from the Profile settings. For security, this requires a quick re-authentication (via password or Google Sign-In) to ensure the request is authorized. Upon deletion, your authentication account and all associated data  including your liked images record in our database  is permanently and automatically removed from our Firebase records.

Android Permissions

To provide the features of this app, we require certain permissions on your Android device. Below is a detailed explanation of why these permissions are requested:

1. Internet & Connectivity

• android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE

• Reason: Required to connect with our library servers, download Urdu literary content, and verify your authentication status during login.

2. Audio Playback & User Feedback

• android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE

• android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK

• android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS

• android.permission.VIBRATE

• Reason: These enable a seamless background audio experience. The app uses foreground services to play music/poetry even when the screen is off. The notification permission is strictly used to show playback controls (Play/Pause/Next) in your notification shade. Vibration is used for tactile feedback when interacting with buttons.

3. Analytics & Technical Stability (Premium Paid Service)

• com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID

• Reason: Being a Premium Paid Application, JaunZadagan is committed to a completely Ad-Free and Tracker-Free experience. This permission is utilized strictly by our technical providers (Google/Firebase) for essential "App Health" monitoring. It allows us to receive precise crash reports, identify device-specific bugs, and optimize performance for a high-quality user experience. We do not use this identifier for profile building, targeted marketing, or third-party sharing; its sole purpose is to ensure the stability and reliability of the service you have purchased.

4. Creative Suite (Image Editor Storage)

• android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 9 or older)

• android.permission.READ_MEDIA_IMAGES (Android 13+)

• android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 8–12 only)

• Reason: Necessary for the Image Editor to save your creations (Poetry-on-Pictures) directly to your gallery. We use Scoped Storage for modern Android versions.

📖 Purpose of the App

The purpose of JaunZadagan is to preserve, promote, and make accessible the literary works of Jaun Elia in a digital format.

This app is designed to provide readers, students, and researchers with a simple, reliable, and culturally authentic platform to explore his poetry and prose anytime, anywhere. It aims to keep Jaun Elia’s literary legacy alive for present and future generations by making his work easily available through modern technology.

🛡 Information Collection and Use

1. Personal Data: To use JaunZadagan, you are required to create an account. We collect your email address and display name for authentication and profile purposes. This data is managed securely through Google Firebase and is permanently deleted when you choose to delete your account. 

2. Technical Data & Third-Party Services: In addition to the personal data mentioned above, the app uses third-party services to ensure stability and improve performance. These services may collect Log Data and Device Identifiers (such as your IP address, device name, and operating system version) to help us diagnose app crashes and understand usage patterns. 

3. Data Retention We retain your personal data only for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed immediately. Crash logs are retained as per Firebase's retention policy. 

The app uses the following third-party services that may collect information used to identify your device:

• Google Play Services

• Firebase Crashlytics

🗑️ Account & Data Deletion

To delete your account and all associated data:

• In-App (Recommended): Open the app → Profile → Delete Account. 

  This is instant and permanent. Your authentication account and all  associated Firestore data (liked images record) is immediately removed.

• Via Email Request: Email kodraftx@gmail.com with subject line 

  "Account Deletion Request" along with your registered email address. 

We will process your request within 7 days.

Note: Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered.

📝 Log Data

In case of an error while using the Service, technical information (such as device type, system version, or crash logs) may be collected automatically through your device or platform services (e.g., Google Play). This information is used only to improve app stability and user experience.
