I am a nuclear astrophysicist trying to understand the origin of elements in the cosmos and what happens to the densest matter before it gets crushed to the black hole. I study nuclear reactions with radioactive ion beams as a tool to understand the process of nucleosynthesis and energy generation in the explosive astrophysical environment. A part of my research also invloves running computer models to help understand the synthesis of the elements.
