I am a nuclear astrophysicist trying to understand the origin of elements in the cosmos and what happens to the densest matter before it gets crushed to the black hole. I study nuclear reactions with radioactive ion beams and stable beams to understand the process of nucleosynthesis and energy generation in the explosive astrophysical environment. A part of my research invloves running computer models to understand the synthesis of the elements.
