Campbell at the Howell County Sheriff’s Office; successfully spearheaded a campaign for a county law enforcement tax, established a scalable pay chart matrix, increased employee salaries by 41%, increased employee strength by 12%, established an uniformed appearance for employees and vehicles, established 100% issued uniforms and equipment, established 100% issued service pistols and carbines, significantly modernized portable and mobile communications, established in-car laptops, established a supply and maintenance program, established 6 patrol zones, established 2 substations, established an annual physical fitness test program, established a tactical organizational structure within the S.W.A.T. unit, established a standardized uniformed appearance to include tactical load plans for individuals and mobile platforms within the S.W.A.T. unit, established an annual tactical training glide-path in correlation with a Mission Essential Task List for the S.W.A.T. unit, established an operations process with records retention for hasty and deliberate missions within the S.W.A.T. unit, established and instructed a Junior Supervisor professional development course, stood-up and managed multiple records management systems throughout the Sheriff’s Office, developed and standardized over 200 fillable forms, developed and standardized over 12 handbooks, developed and standardized over 20 Graphic Training Aids, established an annual per capita report to identify employee strength in correlation with federal data, built and managed the Sheriff’s Office website and social media platforms and established over 100 occupational profiles for applicants and employees in correlation with the State and Federal standards.
2002 – 2021 Patrol Officer
Patrol Officer with a State of Missouri Class-A license who professionally maintained order and protected life and property by enforcing local, state, and federal laws. Performed a combination of the following duties: patrolled a specific area; directed traffic; issued traffic summonses; investigated accidents; apprehended and arrested suspects and served legal processes of courts.
Possesses knowledge in public safety and security, law and government, English language and psychology. Demonstrated skills in active listening, critical thinking, speaking and social perceptiveness. 2022 – 2023 Basic Training Company First Sergeant
First Sergeant in a gender-integrated Basic Combat Training Company with 11 months in position; assigned mission to provide tactically competent, physically fit, values based, highly motivated Soldiers. 2019 – 2021 Infantry Rifle Company First Sergeant
First Sergeant in a Light Infantry Company with 22 months in position; Company Commander's primary advisor and the expert on individual and leader skills; advises the Commander on the unit's health and morale; monitors the well being and professional growth of the unit's Soldiers; ensures discipline and integrity is maintained throughout the Company; lead trainer and mentor of the company's Soldiers; assists the Commander in planning, coordinating and supervising all activities that support the unit's mission; operates where the Commander directs or where he can best influence a critical point or what is viewed as the unit's decisive point.
Responsible for the morale, health and training of 45 junior and senior level supervisors and 87+ personnel.

2018 – 2019 Senior Military Science Instructor
Sergeant First Class with 12 months in position; that executed the duty of the Senior Military Science Instructor (SMSI) for the University of Iowa, Army ROTC. This duty position is the program’s senior enlisted Soldier and advisor to the Professor of Military Science. Additionally, the SMSI is assigned a Cadre role for Cadet Summer Training, and also supports the program’s staff lead for on-campus recruiting, retention, Cadet administrative and logistical tasks.
Responsible for the morale, health and training of nine cadre/staff and 110 cadets.

2017 – 2018 Military Science Instructor
Sergeant First Class with 12 months in position; that executed the duty of the Military Science Instructor (MSI) for the University of Iowa, Army ROTC. This duty position is the program’s primary enlisted instructor. Additionally, the MSI is assigned a cadre role for Cadet Summer Training, and also supports the program’s staff lead for on-campus recruiting, retention, Cadet administrative and logistical tasks.
Responsible for the morale, health and training of 118 cadets.

Sergeant First Class with 47 months in position; that led and managed activities of a larger team. Planned for supply resourcing and needed justification to support long and short-term operational needs. Employed CBRN defensive teams. Planned for, supervised preparation of, and conducted CBRN operations. Performed battle damage assessments. Developed and implemented unit training plans. Conducted graphic resection and hasty surveys with map development and geospatial analysis. Trained for and conducted humanitarian assistance missions.

Staff Sergeant with 23 months in position; that supervised a small team of individuals in the performance of complex tasks. Provided technical and tactical guidance to subordinates in the operation of their equipment and professional support to both subordinates and supervisors in the accomplishment of their duties. Collected and reported intelligence data to unit leaders. Evaluated and analyzed terrain including the development of map overlays utilizing computer mapping software. 2018 Master Educator Course
This resident course program is designed for Army ROTC faculty seeking professional development. The curriculum addresses; pedagogy, instructional technologies and organizational analyses for teaching.
2018 Master Resilience Training Course
This course is a program of study that teaches resilience skills to educate and train Soldiers, which is an aspect of the United States Army’s broader Comprehensive Soldier Fitness program. The course was developed as a joint undertaking between the Positive Psychology Center at the University of Pennsylvania, the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research and the United States Military Academy at West Point.
2014 Senior Leader Course
This course prepares one to communicate effectively in oral and written formats; lead small unit teams; plan and organize daily operations and activities; apply human resource principles to daily operations; identify and mitigate risks; plan and execute established plans and strategies; analyze alternative courses of action; and apply sound logistical and front line management techniques.
2012 Drill Sergeant School
This course prepares one to demonstrate the skills and abilities of a Drill Sergeant; lead, develop, influence, and positively impact others; implement physical fitness programs; apply the fundamentals of marksmanship; implement a training course of instruction; employ basic life saving techniques; and demonstrate knowledge of military concepts.
2009 Mortar Leader Course
The Infantry Mortar Leader Course (IMLC) provides commissioned (2LT – CPT) and non-commissioned officers (SGT – SFC) with the knowledge to supervise and direct high angle fires from a mortar element to enable the United States Army and the Joint Force to prevail in Multi-Domain and Large Scale Combat Operation. Instructions include tactical employment of the mortar platoon, graphics, fire planning, mechanical training, Forward Observer (FO) procedures, and fire direction control procedures. Upon successful completion, enlisted personnel are awarded the additional skill identifier of B1 and officers are awarded the additional skill identifier of 3Z.
2009 Advanced Leader Course
This course prepares one to identify the traits of an effective leader; apply an ethical decision making method; apply sexual assault policies; identify actions that violate equal opportunity and sexual harassment; identify warning signs of a potential suicide; apply rules for business writing; prepare a performance appraisal report; prepare a training plan; assess organizational security and risk; understand aspects of culture and cultural differences; and prepare a situation analysis.
