Game: Surge
Description: Surge, created for Mini Jam 73, is a short puzzle-adventure game that constantly resets your progress ... but not all of it. The game is based around a "knowledge checkpoint" mechanic that allows the player to progress - regardless of the reoccurring power outages. Solve the puzzles and defeat the BBEG to save the kingdom of Surge.

It took second overall, and first in the enjoyment category.
Game: The Quacken
Description: The Quacken is my entry into mini-jam 64. The game is an N64 style eat-em-up in which the player devours fish (and other creatures) to buy upgrades for their "duck". Explore the map and complete challenges to unlock hats.
The Quacken took first place overall in the jam.
Game: Krononaut
Description: Krononaut is a procedurally generated infinite runner created for mini jam 63: Future. The player flies through a series of procedurally generated rings, which are created and oriented based off of a configurable world seed, (which can also be layered on top of a choice in world type: normal, superflat, amplified). The game also features achievement-based skin unlocks. The limitation for this jam was that of a limited color palette, so I wrote a shader that took in a custom hard gradient and re-mapped standard lit shading to it.
Krononaut won first overall and in 2 subcategories.
Game: Prismatica
Description: Prismatica is a third person adventure shooter created solo in 3 days for mini jam 62: Colors. The player fights their way through 3 different levels, avoiding obstacles and beating bosses. The goals I had for this jam were to learn the Unity animation tools package, how to make effects, and how to use Cinemachine. The limitation for this jam was a cap of 2 keyframes per animation, so all of my animation was procedural.
Game: ReCursed
Description: ReCursed is my entry into mini-jam 61: Ancient Egypt. I had been playing a lot of Risk of Rain 2, and had been wanting to do a spin on it for a while. The game is someahat of a roguelike, requiring the player to collect stat-changing items in order to loop to the next stage. The game features a randomized environment, a robust item+effect system, and an original soundtrack. ReCursed took 4th place overall.
Game: Raise Your Spirits
Description: Raise Your Spirits is my own take on a completely non-violent stealth game (as per the game jam limitation). The player, while remaining unseen, controls a ghost in an effort to cheer up a former friend.
