I am a UCLA student majoring in Music Performance with a focus on violin and minoring in Data Science Engineering. With over a decade of dedication to the violin, I currently study under renowned instructors Ji Young An and Movses Pogossian, who are helping shape my artistry and technical finesse.
My musical journey includes leadership roles such as Concertmaster of both the Glendale Youth Orchestra and the West Ranch Chamber Orchestra. I was a prizewinner in the Glendale Youth Orchestra Concerto Competition and have performed widely with Junior Chamber Music Los Angeles, earning a bronze medal in their Chamber Music Competition and a scholarship to the Montecito Summer Music Camp.
Beyond the stage, I am passionate about using music as a force for good. As President of SCV Musicteers, I organized over 20 concerts annually to raise funds for various charitable causes. My achievements in multiple competitions, including several first-place awards, reflect my commitment to both technical excellence and emotional expression in performance.
I also have a strong passion for computer science. In high school, I worked as a code instructor at Code Ninjas, where I introduced students to programming through engaging platforms. I also led Code for Kids at local high schools, teaching elementary students Scratch and Python using Code.org.
At UCLA, I look forward to continuing private violin lessons, performing in university orchestras, and expanding my knowledge in computer science and engineering. I remain active in community outreach, regularly hosting classical music performances at senior homes — experiences that reaffirm my belief in the power of music to connect and uplift.
Looking ahead, I aspire to bridge my passions for music and technology — using both to build community, inspire young learners, and make a lasting impact.
