At the Intersection of Media, Luxury, and Celebrity Culture for More than 30 Years

Founder of Niche Media

Before founding DuJour Media, Binn established Niche Media in 1992 to create publications tailored to the interests of various cities. His magazines reached a wide range of cities, including titles such as Aspen Peak, Boston Common, Capitol File, Hamptons, Ocean Drive, Gotham, Los Angeles Confidential, Michigan Avenue, Philadelphia Style, and Vegas. These publications shaped regional luxury media and helped strengthen Binn's standing in the publishing industry.

Jason connected with niche audiences by providing magazines that reflected the character of each city. His publications in places like Miami, the Hamptons, and New York City each developed an identity that matched the lifestyle and interests of their local readers.

Niche Media also built a custom publishing department that created publications for events and clients, including Art Basel Miami Beach, Wynn Las Vegas, and the Short Hills Mall for a real estate organization.

Building Niche Media into a national media company and completing its sale were notable milestones on his entrepreneurial path. Binn sold the company in 2006 to Greenspun Media Group while continuing to serve as CEO. 2007 Greenspun Media Group acquired another media group he co-owned and founded. He stayed with the organization to oversee its management and operations until he stepped down in 2010.
