I am an Assistant Professor at the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa. My research interests focus on the strategic and entrepreneurial uses of artificial intelligence and digital technologies. I have published in leading management and information systems journals, including the Association for Computing Machinery Transactions on Management Information Systems (TMIS), the Journal of Business Ethics, and the Journal of Management.
My research particularly examines natural language programming applications, including conversational assistants and AI-enabled biometric technologies, and their implications for the digital workplace. Before entering academia, I worked as a Petroleum Field Engineer in Western Canada’s oil and gas industry and later as a Management Consultant in Strategy and Operations at Deloitte. I am also the co-founder of a software development company based in Gatineau.
