About Me

Hello! My name is Jaslene, but everyone calls me Jas. I am junior at El Dorado High School and art has always been my passion ever since i was a little girl. I began with 3-D art and design my 1st year of high school and then later took ceramics my 2nd year. I instantly fell in love with it and I now currently take advanced ceramics and I am planning on taking AP ceramics next year for my senior year! Despite that, ceramics isn't where I draw the line, I love to paint, draw, create 3-D sculptures, dance, and even put together floral pieces. Basically anything you can think of that is in any way, shape or form artistic and creative, I love it. Art is my way of expressing myself and processing my emotions, whether it be through ceramics, painting, or dance. As a matter of fact I have been a flamenco dancer for 10 years now, and although this may seem irrelevant in this context, it is a huge part of my life and I believe it has helped me discover myself and become the person I am today.
