Family

My husband, Matt, is a Port Allegany native. After many years traveling the world for Matt's military service, we now enjoy living in his hometown with our dog Copper, pictured above.

I am originally from Greensburg, Pennsylvania (near Pittsburgh) and lived there until I married in 2002. I graduated from Westminster College (Go Titans!) in 1996 and have been working with children and youth in various capacities ever since. I received my first teaching certification in secondary education in 2009 and my elementary certification in 2022. I also received my Masters in Elementary Education in 2022. Due to my husband's military service, I have moved 11 times and am finally glad to be settled in his hometown. My family still lives in Greensburg, and I enjoy visiting as often as I can.
