I love the picture to the left. It was taken in Czech Republic during a sports activity camp for Hand of Hope Orphans Matter (by Jari ''South''... thank you for a fantastic picture)
The little child flying in the air is my youngest daughter. If I would have to give a name to the picture then it might be called 'Pure Joy'. She is flying high but fear is absent from her because she completely trusts her dad's hands to catch her.
This picture pretty much summarizes why I engage myself with family and friends in different help / charity projects.
Many children today need help so they can attain new heights
It should be fun
And there should be a support network to ''catch'' them if they fall
I have been involved in Fellowship of Christian Athletes for many years and it is through FCA that I have developed a better understanding of what it means to be a team player.
In Matthew 7:12 Jesus says: ''So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.''
Would I want help if I was an orphan or if I would live on the street? My answer is 'Yes I would'. So, if I think I would want help but I am not ready to give it then my moral compass is pointing in the wrong direction.
João and TS. Two FCA coaches that put the interest of others before their own. Real team players!
My walk with FCA really started at Camp Bethany while being a huddle leader with Luke and Reggie.
Girls Football Training in Kathmandu, Nepal 2015 (in the middle of the picture,Fredrik, Lars, Steve G, Jens, Jari ''North'', Jari ''South'' and Ryan plus below Laila and Sanna).
