My passion for design, problem solving and practical modelmaking stems from my appreciation for the unique practical effects used to create my favorite 70's/80’s sci-fi films; the technological limitations faced by these filmmakers forced them to get creative to achieve their vision in this golden era of cinema history.

During my free time I enjoy crafting life-size replicas of iconic props from my favorite films, shows and videogames using any and all manufacturing techniques. I also enjoy collecting, customizing and photographing action figures with the intent of making them appear to be full scale; I enjoy faithfully recreating movie scenes and coming up with my own interesting scenarios! For these shoots I create custom miniature props and dioramas to surround my subjects with.
