Signature Cultural Experiences
We are proud to be the only local Japanese School offering weekly taiko classes with two experienced, professional sensei!
We offer fun, simple cooking classes on a bi-monthly basis, giving children the opportunity to make and eat their own creations.
...such as origami and other traditional arts and crafts, Japanese children's games, and dramas/movies to enhance comprehension of language and modern culture
For New Year's, our students, faculty, and parents come together and make mochi! And in the fall, we have an undoukai Sports Day for students to learn Japanese games and build a sense of teamwork and community. Additionally, we host special cultural events throughout the year (in the 2024—2025 school year, we hosted a koto performance and a mini tea ceremony)!
