Procedure

In my reply you will find a form attached. Please fill in this form which beside your specific interest in Japanese also asks to do a short test in case you have already learned Japanese before.

We will set a time for our first meeting by email. This meeting will take about 30 minutes and be free of charge.

This meeting consists of an introduction of ourselves and a short demo lesson of about 10 minutes. We will use one of the following tools for communicating: Skype, Hangouts Meet, Zoom.

Following the first meeting, please let me know your decision by email. In case you decide to start taking lessons with me, include the information of your timing preferences for setting the lesson schedule.

We will discuss and decide together how you take lessons; schedule, frequency, study materials.

Your program will be tailor made, designed to your rhythm, your interest, your present level and your goal. This requires a certain preparation time before our first lesson. We will set our first lesson date and time together.

After your decision on how you want to pay (for a single lesson or for several lessons in advance), you will receive a payment request from me via PayPal. Please complete your payment 24 hours before the lesson starts.

Private lessons will start. I am happy to adapt my teaching strategies to your needs. You are always welcome to communicate your requests both in the lesson and outside of lesson.
