1. Overview Japa Counter (“the App”) is designed to be a private, local-first tool for spiritual practice. We value your privacy and do not collect, store, or share any personal information.
2. Data Collection & Usage
•Personal Data: We do not collect names, email addresses, or phone numbers.
•Chant History: All japa counts, mantra names, and history are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your phone and is not transmitted to any external servers.
•Permissions:
Notifications: Used only for the daily reminders you set.
Exact Alarm: Used to ensure your reminders ring at the specific time chosen.
•Billing: If you choose to support the developer via in-app contributions, transactions are handled securely by Google Play Billing. We do not see or store your payment details.
3. Children’s Privacy: The App is safe for all ages. We do not collect any data from children under 13 (or any users), making it fully compliant with privacy standards for all age groups.
4. Data Deletion: If you wish to delete your data, simply clear the App’s storage in your phone settings or uninstall the App. All locally stored history will be permanently removed.
