1. Platform Nature
JanX is a user-generated public discussion and civic engagement platform focused on local issues, public leaders, polls, and constituency-based discussions.
JanX acts solely as an intermediary platform and does not create, endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, legality, or completeness of user-generated content.
2. User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the content you post on JanX, including posts, comments, polls, ratings, reviews, images, or any other material.
You agree NOT to post content that:
- Is abusive, obscene, vulgar, or offensive
- Includes swear words, personal insults, or targeted harassment
- Promotes hate, discrimination, or harassment based on caste, religion, gender, region, or community
- Contains threats, violence, or encouragement of harm
- Contains false, misleading, manipulated, or intentionally deceptive information
- Makes false criminal allegations or defamatory claims
- Is pornographic, sexually explicit, illegal, or harmful
- Violates election laws, public order laws, or any applicable law
Criticism or opinions about public issues, political leaders, or public figures must be expressed responsibly and without personal abuse, threats, or knowingly false statements.
3. Polls, Ratings & Public Leader Discussions
Poll results, leader ratings, and opinions displayed on JanX are based entirely on user-generated input.
These do not represent factual rankings, endorsements, or the official position of JanX.
Users must not misuse ratings, polls, or comments to spread misinformation, targeted abuse, or coordinated defamation.
4. Content Moderation & Removal
JanX does not pre-moderate all user content.
However, JanX reserves the right to:
- Remove, hide, or restrict any content
- Limit visibility or interaction
- Disable features temporarily or permanently
- Suspend or terminate user accounts
These actions may be taken at any time, with or without notice, to comply with these Terms, platform safety, Google Play policies, or applicable laws.
5. Reporting & Takedown
Users may report content they believe violates these Terms.
JanX will review reported posts, comments, polls, ratings, and media, and may remove or restrict access where appropriate.
6. Account Access & Suspension
JanX may suspend or permanently terminate accounts that:
- Repeatedly violate these Terms
- Engage in abuse, harassment, or unlawful activity
- Spread harmful misinformation
- Attempt to manipulate polls, ratings, or public sentiment
- Misuse, disrupt, or attack the platform
7. Disclaimer
- Views and opinions expressed by users are their own
- JanX does not endorse any political party, candidate, public figure, or ideology
- User ratings and polls are expressions of opinion only
- Content is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind
8. No Professional, Legal, or Political Advice
Content on JanX is for discussion, civic awareness, and public opinion only.
It should not be treated as legal, election, professional, or political advice.
9. Limitation of Liability
JanX shall not be liable for:
- User-generated content
- Any loss, harm, or damage caused by user opinions or posts
- Actions taken based on polls, ratings, discussions, or comments
- Third-party misuse of information shared publicly
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JanX, its owners, operators, and service providers from any claims, complaints, legal notices, damages, or liabilities arising from:
- Content you post
- Violation of these Terms
- Your misuse of JanX features
