Ben is Irish and did fascinating work on the enigmatic asymmetric centromere structure in the fly germline before joining us as a Marie Curie Fellow to understand the equally mysterious path to human neocentromere formation.

Julia is from the far north of England but a long-time resident of Oxford. She is our expert protein biochemist and emerging cell biologist in neocentromere biology.

Anna came to us from St. Petersburg, via Kansas City and Vienna. Anna is a Hill Foundation scholar at Oxford to discover how long-term transcriptional memory is dynamically controlled at the single cell level. 

Grant is a London native and did his undergrad at Imperial. He joined us as an Oxford-Wolfson-Marriott scholar to discover how centromric chromatin is stably transmitted long-term via the maintenance of an epigenetic feedback loop.
