Hi all,

I'am currently using Avitab to view Navigraph charts in-game but one of the things that annoys me about it is the re-sizing (or lack therof) of the Avitab window. I would like to be able to view Navigraph charts in a much bigger or re-sizable window than Avitab, similar to the Navigraph charts app for MSFS2020.

Does anyone know if something similar exists for XP11? Something that gives you a large, re-sizable view of Navigraph charts or your own PDFs in-game for XP11?

Thanks

You could always use Navigraph charts on a supported tablet/iPad... you even have the flight path and moving map that you can't get on Avitab. No help with .PDFs, although you could stash those in your tablet as well making it a sim- EFB.

I hate to be that guy, but I also think there's something to be said for hitting file print and having the charts in your hot little hands, heck even get a clipboard and then attach said clipboard to your knee.

I have the charts subscription, they work as they should in Avitab. How do I "sign in" so it will work with the 767 EFB? I've searched here, no help. Read the manual, it says "For that, you need to first go to options and log-in." I don't see this anywhere?

Actually, now it's working. Was filling in the ticket info, and thought I'd have one more look before hitting submit. Opened the EFB, clicked on charts, "Options" tab was there just like yesterday, but now when I click on it the sign in page comes up. Yesterday clicking on options just showed "Not Registered" with no option to login. No other changes, so after shutting down my system last night, and booting up this morning, something sorted itself out

I wish Navigraph would release these on a monthly cycle like Jeppesen does. Since they don't offer monthly subscription anymore, only yearly now. Such a shame since I really like Navigraph's interface and layout, however I don't need to have the latest charts when I fly. Not much changes occur in a month at airports to make it worthwhile. I usually update my navigraph cycles every 6months to a year. So this is why I wish they would allow us to purchase this and keep the entire charts on a monthly basis.

I have a subscription to Navigraph and everything works fine on the Navigraph charts app, both on pc and Android, but even though I have linked to Navigraph account on the AviTab plugin, both on it's own tablet and in the Zibo 737, I can't seem to get any charts appear. I click on Airport, but can only see the details page and don't get any button or the charts icon to bring up the list of charts.

I linked the AviaTab to navigraph as shown in the video at 2:30. I also restart X-Plane, linked the account again.

But the chart icon on the airport search dialog will not appear neither in the AviaTab nor on the zibo tab.

Can I support you with more information, some log file ... ?

@xflo Which airport did you try to view charts for? Not all airports are available in Navigraph, could you try a big one like EDDF? If that also doesn't show the icon, which text is displayed in AviTab's Navigraph app?

I have changed nothing since yesterday. Coming home and start up my computer today, start X-Plane with the zibo.

Search for the same airport than yesterday and the navigraph link seems to work now ?

I uninstalled the CL 650, delete the CL650 folder in Output. (I did it twice)

I reinstalled by starting with the navigraph box checked, in career mode. Still no cards.

On the other hand, they are displayed well in Avitab!

Ah, I see you're keen on utilizing the Navigraph charts for your flight planning in the default B 737 on X-Plane 11! It's a great way to enhance the realism of your flight simulation experience. Let's break this process down step by step:

Starting out in X-Plane in v9, it usually took me two and a half hours to create a route, mostly for long haul of say London to Singapore, you had to input every three letter VOR ICAO code and every five letter WAYPOINT ICAO code into the X-Plane FMS, this is in the not the FMC we have now, but the earlier original version, no AIRWAYS, no deletes, no SID or STAR (you had to create every SID or STAR section yourself via charts), and a LON - SIN segment usually had a 50+ waypoints in the route (Including the SID and STAR segments)... at least you could save all your hard work.

Select your runway and then your SID from the drop down lists... not sure which SID to use? then press the "Show Visual Overview" switch and you get all the SID's in glorious colour and their departure routes... brilliant! I mean how many hours have spent gong through charts to find the best direction departure route, for me it has been hours and hours...

The navigation tools available today for simulators are wide and varied, maps and charts were always available if you knew where to look or with Google search, but how many times were those charts very out of date, or even hard to find. Inputting route data (coordinates) was also a very tiresome job, and certainly if you did long hauls.

The main aspect of this new mapping tool is that it brings together other varied tools to be under one application. Charts and Mapping now live together and rather than side by side, in SID and STAR charts they can also be directly inserted into the mapping tool. SID and STAR Departures and Arrivals procedures can also now be seen in a coloured routing for easy choice and routes themselves can be built up directly by point and choose directly in the mapping tool including LOW and HIGH AIRWAYS with fully detailed route information. Routes can easily be built and adjusted with full access to the route code for adjustment or editing.

The charts are in another section of the Navigraph site... Navigraph Charts, you have to sign into your account to access them, then the chart access opens up.go down to the.... See the airport and chart listing for a complete listing.

If your hardware can support MSFS, then I strongly recommend shelling out 10EUR/mo to get the Xbox game pass, which includes the MSFS base game. The price is low, and you may not need to get Navigraph charts because they still update the game's AIRACs. And the default aircraft AFAIK are not that bad. Not to mention the abundance of other games you get along with your subscription.

In case you want to go completely free(without Navigraph), you can also use the Honeywell FMC to fly. From what I have been able to see, you can forget using SIDs and STARs, which either means that you use headings from (Possibly old) charts you find online, or you request headings from TWR. Both of which personally classify as an un-authentic experience, given that it is not a regular departure/arrival flow. Not to say that, setting a direct-to for a waypoint literally removes the flight plan. Very, very frustrating.

Cheapest way to fly on vatsim,I think, is Xplane. One purchase (maybe from steam and during discounts for lower rice) and you get updated global airports, abundant high quality freeware aircrafts like the amazing zibo/Levelup 737,Kingair EVO ,etc. You can fly on vatsim enjoying payware level freeware aircrafts and updated airports without paying for anything other than Xplane itself and of course navigraph subscription, one trick is to subscribe through discontinued monthly subscription.Skip one month if there's no obvious changes and you save 8Euros, subscribe again when there's a major change ?

0: ChartFox and FltPlan for 'Terminal Procedures Publication' style aeronautical charts (STARs, SIDs, approach plates etc.). ChartFox has data from a lot of countries, but FltPlan is useful when I'm flying to or from Canada, as the Canadian CAA don't publish the charts themselves.

Navigraph has released their new Charts 8 version of their In-Game Panel for MSFS. This in-game panel allows you to open a Navigraph Charts window within the simulator, visiting charts and flight plan information. Due to technical limitations, the In-Game Panel of Navigraph Charts was previously still using the previous version of Charts, Charts 7.

Airport and terminal charts are once again powered by Jeppesen. Charts can be pinned for quick access and also be visualised as an overlay on your planned route. New in Charts 8 are the VFR charts. Similar to IFR charts, VFR charts will show you procedures, waypoints and airspaces, but also landmarks such as roads, power lines, railways, churches and more. Moving maps, available for both IFR and VFR charts, helps you with procedures and taxiing by giving you a quick overview of where you are.

Charts 8 comes with even more new features: Seamless Zoom allows you to zoom in from a globe level down to airport level, showing you gates, buildings, stop lines and more. Autopinning Procedure Charts makes sure that you always have your procedure charts at hand. Airport Crosswind and Weather Info gives you an indicator of how favourable your selected runway is with the weather. And new Vector Charts aims to bring better performance and allows for decluttering charts, as well as enabling charts to rotate. And the Navigraph team is committed to bring even more features to the new Charts app, including traffic visualisation and chart annotations among other features.

Hi, yesterday I purchased and downloaded the Windows NavDataPro package with charts and navdata. I installed it using the NavDataPro app and the provided instructions, as far as I can tell. I want to use the charts and navdata for my Aerobask Eclipse 550NG, which requires the GNS430 data. I created a Custom Data>GNS430 folder and copied what I thought were the appropriate files from the Custom Data folder into there. Something must be amiss as the aircraft cannot find either the charts or the navdata. be457b7860
