This framework explores a teaching method integrating visual arts and animation with language arts principles to engage introverted students in expressive communication. Blending artistic techniques with language learning aims to enhance students' communication skills and help them interpret nonverbal cues for more prosperous expressive abilities.
The method highlights the importance of visual arts in educational development, positioning it as essential as language arts. By creating a learning environment that connects language and art, the approach fosters creativity, communication, and a deeper comprehension of both disciplines.
Ultimately, this method seeks to empower introverted students through the collaborative and holistic experience that intertwines language and visual arts which will only encourage added strength for comprehension, which will foster learning, through personal growth.

Students often enrol in a tertiary animation programme but then depart the programme at various points, citing multiple reasons. What determinants affect this departure, and how can we engage students differently at three (3) contact points to minimise or eliminate this departure? The first point of contact examines the application process and how the communication is constructed. The second point of contact assesses first-year orientation and how it is structured. The third point of contact reviews communication within the programme. This investigation uses a qualitative approach by interviewing students, teachers and administrators in an animation programme in St. Andrew, Jamaica. The results of this investigation will benefit teachers, administrators, and students, as it will be used as a baseline when administrating academic advice from application to graduation.
