DystOcean is a 2D underwater sidescroller rogue-lite, in which you, as a moon jellyfish, have to get to the very bottom of the ocean by choosing your own playstyle.
Fight your way down to the Hadal zone by encountering enemies and choosing to either fight or dodge to learn different skills.
When dying, the scientists clone and modify you with resistance skills to enhance your jellyfish-self to withstand the sea-conditions.

All you know is that the power is off and everyone you grew up with has vanished, except for the robot who's been assigned to overview your progress.
